Innovation grants
There are 3 grants of $30,000 each in the innovation category.
These grants are for innovative projects that pioneer modern technologies, methodologies or approaches to advance biosecurity practices in Queensland.
Education grants
There are 8 grants of $15,000 each in the education category.
These grants are for projects that promote awareness and deliver behaviour change to empower individuals and organisations with the knowledge and skills to effectively support and strengthen Queensland's biosecurity capability.
Who can apply
Community not-for-profit organisations, clubs/associations, schools, councils, universities, statutory bodies/government agencies and incorporated bodies/associations in Queensland are eligible to apply.
How to apply
Applications must be submitted in writing via this portal by the deadline. Biosecurity Queensland may, at its discretion, extend the application period on a case-by-case basis.
To apply:
- Download and read the grants funding criteria
- Complete the submission form by clicking 'start your application' at the bottom of this page.
- Provide all information requested.
- Address all funding criteria and requirements.
- Include necessary attachments (i.e. project budget).
- Submit your application by the closing date and time.
Note: We recommend registering on this site so you can progressively save your application. Once you have submitted your application, you will see an acknowledgement on-screen and recieve an email confirmation.
