Next steps

  • Applications will be assessed by an evaluation panel against the published funding criteria, including how well the application meets the focus areas.
  • We will notify applicants in writing on the outcome of their applications.
  • A list of successful applicants will be published to our website.

As part of the grant application process, we collect your personal information about Queensland Biosecurity Boost Grants Program applicants to assist in the assessment and management of grants funding. If you do not provide this information, we cannot assess your grant application.

Your personal information will be collected and handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 and may be provided to the following persons or organisations to process and manage your application:

  • Industry experts and Queensland Government agencies engaged by the department for the purpose of assessing your application.
  • Persons within the department for the purposes of correspondence, notification, marketing and promotional activities.

In addition to the above, details of successful applications may be provided to Members of Parliament and used in promotional material about the Queensland Biosecurity Boost Grants Program including media releases, annual reports, social media and Queensland Government websites.
